Cara Mengganti Folder Film
I do hope I'm not asking something that's been asked before. I have tried to check past comments for answres/solutions to my queries but I'm new to this so apologies in advance if I'm mistaken.I'm just looking for some advice and a bit of guidance on the two following topics if anyone is able to help me:EditsI have a two-hour film but I only wish to keep two thirty-minute chunks of it. Fallout 4 skyrim mods. Spcae on computer is tight and the two-hour film comes in at just under 1GB in size.
I used Windows Movie Maker to edit the film down to the two chunksbut each came in at over 800MB when I was hoping/expecting for it to be closer to 250MB. As my only reason for making the edit was to reduce the size of the file, it seems I'm better off keeping the original as it was. I have a few films like this. It's notjust the one.Have I incorrectly assumed that by editing down the file it would also be reduced in size, or could it be that a change of settings might make a difference?Video ThumbnailsMy films seem to automatically grab their thumbnail images from the beginning of the film and I would like to know if it is possible to grab an image from a later point in the film, a point of my choosing. I can't seem to work outif this is possible so if anyone is able to help and advise me on this that would be great. Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help, and again, I have tried to make sure I'm not wasting people's time by looking for information before making this post but if I have over-looked anything then please accept my apologies.Catherine.

See the custom settings section of this page of my website. Open any of the settings choices and note the differences in estimated file sizes that result from your changes to any of the settings.About thumbnails I was saying you can't choose ones when using files in Movie Maker. I publish most of my finished movies to vimeo, an online host. It lets me select the frame used as the thumbnail. But if I upload the same videoto facebook it selects the thumbnail and doesn't give me an option to use a different one. PapaJohn www.papajohn.org www.facebook.com/groups/69256/. Regarding edits:Movie Maker is creating a.new.

video from your source file(s). So if you take part of an existing movie and then save it from Movie Maker as a new movie, you have both the original and the new movie. In addition, the resolution/size of that movie is dependenton the settings you pick in Movie Maker. Generally you want to pick an.mp4 output to get the best compression.
In addition, you almost always want to pick the same dimensions and bitrate as your original movie. If you have a 720 x 480 source video and youdecided to save it as a high-bitrate 1920 x 1080 video, you are adding additional space to the file that is unnecessary. This seems to be what is happening with you. You have a highly compressed source file and you are using a higher bitrate and/or higher pixel dimensions when saving. As you hover over each of the output choices under File Save movie, you'll see detailson the dimensions and bitrate along with an estimated file size. Make sure you pick an output format that makes sense. Also, as stated, whatever you create out of Movie Maker is in addition to the original source files. So if you are truly looking to free up space on your computer, you'd have to eventually delete the source video file and only keep the shorter clips thatyou edited. But don't do that until you are sure you are done with the source file.Regarding the thumbnails:INSIDE MOVIE MAKER:When you are editing within Movie Maker, it displays the first frame of each clip as the thumbnail.
That thumbnail is only used internally to help you know what that portion of video represents. As you make further splits or add other clips, the first frameof those new splits/clips will be displayed. But again, these are just for display purposes for helping you know what each clip represents.WITHIN WINDOWS:When the operating system (Windows) needs to show you a thumbnail representation of any video file on your computer, it algorithmically picks a thumbnail. Most of the time it tries to pick the first 'significant' frame (for example, if you start with a fadein from black it won't just take a black thumbnail but will try to pick one a little later.)ON SHARING SITES:When you finally upload your video to a sharing site, they have yet another algorithm for picking the thumbnail to display. Some sites will let you change the default that is picked. For example, on Vimeo you can play the uploaded video and stop at any frameand choose that as the thumbnail.

I don't remember what other sharing services do, off the top of my head, but check around for that.
