While I don't speak Polish at all, I downloaded the mod just to get an impression of it. It's extremely well made, and I'm very impressed. I sincerely hope an English translation is not out of the question, at least for subtitles.

(I'd like to present You Polish modification for Gothic 2 Night of the Raven 'The Golden Gate'. In this mod we play as the Nameless Hero who leaves Myrtana, where the war was finally over, to get back to Khorinis to recall the good old times of his adventures.

When he finally arrives to the town, he learns that something strange is happening in Jharkendar: the Paladins want get rid of the pirates but also, there's the threat of a plague sent by Beliar. Coming from the creators of Dark Mysteries? I can't wait for the English translation!I already installed the Polish version, and I played it for a couple of minutes. We have translated about 50% of dialogues so far, so it's quite probable that we'll have the release this year:)I'd take this chance to really thank you for keeping us informed about the Polish community. It's nice how even though there're hardly people in the forums that speak the other language we're still able to share the things we love:)As for the mod I'm really looking forward to it! What is automatic disabling. The story with the pirates seems interesting so far, i like the fact that you implemented orcs as something else than just enemies you have to kill.Definitely looking forward to the release of the English translation!

Can anyone spoil us a bit about the new skills?:) So, apparently shields are a thing now? Are they as useless as in Gothic 3 or can they actually block attacks from monsters too? Also, dual wielding - yes, no?:) I'm just wondering whether to dedicate myself to one-handers or two-handers, if nothing significant is new, 2-handers are probably the way to go, but if there are proper new skills regarding shields etc. Wow:)New skills: cooking, sawing, gold melting and silver mining. Shields will be in the second part which is already created:) There is no dual wield.BTW We're looking for animators who could attach new models of monsters/animals to Gothic animations. The more u progress, the more u want to finish it.I need your assistance with this quest:Apollos nightmare- I found the body (ruttus was his name) and brought the necklace to Apollos, but I'm having difficulty finding oder bodies. Question- are there more bodies beside the 1 i found (bug perhaps), if yes, pls tell me where I can find it (having headache cause of it:) ). Ring of speed saves time, but I ran almost everywhere, checked all the blood spots, been to other settlers etc. But nadda, am I missing something?Best regards. Here are the steps I followed:1.Freshly installed G2Notr2.Installed gothic2fix-2.6.0.0-rev2.exe3.Installed GoldenGate-1.00.exe - full installation (chose both mod and stater kit options)then I start a new game - it loads, NH appears near the exit to Jharkendar (I can see Saturas) and dies immediately!I tried to use Marvin to revive - no changes to the world, nothing in the canyon, dialogue with Saturas starts like in normal G2NOTR.Please help.:dnuhr.
