Click to expand.You do realize this thread has been dormant for nearly a year, right?I do agree with your statement that Word shouldn't try to be smart about links. I get so frustrated with MS software at work, I look forward to its complete absence on my Mac. I could get a $10 'home use' copy of Office 2011 but I don't want it. Recently I've given some thought to signing up for office 365 for $99 a year. This would unlock the MS Office that's available for iOS and on the web but I still doubt I'd have the inclination to put Office on my Mac.
