And also I’d like to thank to master of ceremony who has given me chance to speak here in front of you all today on the title: “THE YOUNG GENERATION AND MORAL CRISIS”.My beloved brothers and sisters.
As a matter of fact, when we talk about the development of a nation, in its past, present, and in the future, one thing that must be mentioned is the role of the youth generation.Why is it so? Because the youth has fresh brain, great physical power, high creativity and mobility. So, by those potential, the youth can learn more and do many good things better. Also, they are hoped able to solve many problems occur in their surroundings. They are the hope of nation who will carry out the struggle for the sake of brighter future of this country, they are the hope of Islamic religion who will strive for the sake of Islamic teaching in the next, and who will be leaders for the next.
It was yelled as:شُبّاَن الْيَوْمِ رِجَالُ الْغَدِ”Today is young tomorrow will be a leaders.”My beloved brothers and sisters. This statement encourages us to pay attention to the young’s existence of the future. The youths supposedly symbolize the force that never become weak quickly.However, a sad view is right before our eyes. We see in the television, we read in the news paper, or we hear in the radio.
Many of our young generation are influenced by the bad culture. They waste their times, without thinking of their nation’s, without thinking their own future.
It’s so terrible knowing that the number of drug is very high. It seems that they don’t understand about the result, that the drugs can ruin their bright future.Other young generation, even they don’t consume the narcotics, even they don’t consume the drugs, they waste their times in discotheques, have free sex between them, or have dangerous fun by driving their motorbikes wildly on the street.
Still others, who don’t do those bad things, waste their times by watching TV or other shows too much. They forget their time for study. They don’t study hard and don’t do homework. So, if there is a test, cheating will be their choice.Then, what can we hope from such generation?
If, even only half of our young generation do not aware of this situation, don’t ever hope we will have free and prosperous country. Never it will happen!So Audiences, right this moment I should like to call all of you, to call all of our young generations in this place to awake from our long dreams. It’s time to stand right, to cast aside the laziness, the doubts, the stupidity. Let’s build our close relation, our pure brotherhood, it’s time to use our brain, to use our energy, and our creativity, our spirit to learn and study harder, and to work our plans better. We have to be aware that the responsibility of nation developing and religion establishing depend on us.
